Electric Arc Wire
This is a cost effective, high throughput coating process typically used for thick buildup and surface restoration applications. It can also produce excellent metallic coatings such as Molybdenum, Aluminum, NiAl and Zinc used for wear and corrosion protection. Arc wire can be used to produce a wide range of surface finishes. The process uses a positive and negative charged dual wire system and then uses high pressure air or gas to atomize and propel the coating to the work surface.
