Terkosky Appointed to Group Vice President of EST
We
are pleased to announce that David Terkosky has been appointed
a Group Vice President for Ellison Surface Technologies. David
will be leading a newly formed organization that integrates
marketing, sales and engineering. David states that, “Our
new organization will be designed to noticeably improve our
interaction with our customers by streamlining the RFQ, quote,
development and approval process…. Our goal is to cut
the time from RFQ to production parts in half by 2008.”
David
has been a member of the Ellison Group for just over three
years. He started with Ellison Surface Technologies in Sales
and New Business Development. He was then promoted to Group
Vice President responsible for the management of Accelerated
Technologies (ATI), EST’s sister company. ATI is an
industry leader in the rapid prototyping, rapid tooling and
rapid parts field. David led ATI to double digit sales and
profit growth two years in a row. Customer surveys revealed
customer satisfaction also increased significantly with David
at the helm of ATI. David notes “Customer satisfaction
will be my #1 priority. Rapid process development and approvals
are the lifeblood of our company, and we believe the key to
success is to align resources to better deliver on the needs
and expectations of our customers. Communication, responsiveness
and continuous improvement will be critical to achieving our
goal to improve customer satisfaction and cut time for development
and approvals in half.” David will continue to oversee
ATI while bringing that same level of customer focus to this
key area of our EST business.
David
brings a wealth of engineering, business and leadership experience.
He started his career at Procter & Gamble after graduating
with an engineering degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology
in 1979. After graduation he served in manufacturing roles
and participating in brand team development efforts for P&G.
After leaving P&G, David was involved in a venture backed
startup company which successfully went public, where he developed
significant sales and marketing experience achieving a Vice
President position in 1989. Since then, he has held senior
level positions in other start-up and growth companies. Prior
to joining the Ellison Group in 2004, David served as VP of
Sales and Marketing at Cohesia Corp., a Cincinnati based software
company that developed an AS9100 compliant first article, characteristic
accountability application for major aerospace OEMs. Over
the next 3 months, David will be working to meet with our customers
to gather input on our partnership, and to discuss how EST
might better serve its customers with particular focus on the
development and approval process. David looks forward to meeting
