EST West receives NADCAP Certification for Heat Treating and Brazing EST has been servicing the Aerospace and Power Generation industries for over 20 years. We have acquired an AS 9100 and NADCAP certified thermal spray coatings applicator in Arizona. Our recent acquisition has expanded our coating capacity by adding six thermal spray booths with HVOF and Plasma Spray capabilities. Our acquisition of EST West added two new service offerings to the EST portfolio as well – Heat Treating and Brazing. As part of our EST West expansion strategy, we are rolling out proven EST quality and operational systems to our facility in Phoenix. We are very pleased to announce that we have now received NADCAP certification along with AS9100 certification for Heat Treating and Brazing at EST West. Catherine Montalvo, Quality Manager for EST West, comments “We have acquired the technology for our current customers with heat treating and brazing, but more importantly, we have acquired more than 20 years of experienced specialists in this field which is a significant advantage for our customers. The current customers at EST West trust the experienced personnel here. The advantage for our customer base from Ellison is that some parts are going to need both services: thermal spray and heat treating and brazing.
